Village Board - Trustee Quin O'Brien

Background:

Family: Wife, (Married: 2002). Son - Quin, lives in Denver. Daughter - Julia, Son in Law - Eric, & Grandson - Atlas, live in Bloomington/Normal. Cat-Blanquita.

Occupation: Semi-retired. REALTOR, CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist). I founded an internet-based real estate company in 2000. There I created a novel real estate listing program which helped thousands of people save millions of dollars in commissions. I had 30+ sponsored agents and was able to mentor 2 of them to a point where they were able to buy my company.  I now work for one of them but am also aligned with a real estate company in the Canary Islands (Spain). I would not call myself bilingual but I can get by and attempt to study Spanish daily. I also practice my faith daily.

Civic involvement: Volunteer leader of the Go Gurnee Walking Club (with the Gurnee Park District), Volunteer at Northern Illinois Food Bank, Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, Faithful attendee every Sunday at a local Gurnee church.

I am extremely blessed and my life now is mostly about giving back.  My desire to serve on the Village Board is an extension of that. I am overwhelmed at the amount of support I have received from everyone in the community. My goal is to honor that support daily.
