Home Invasion Arrest

Gurnee – On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at approximately 11:06 p.m., Gurnee Police responded to a report of a home invasion in the 1600 block of Belle Plaine Ave.  It was reported that two or three suspects forcefully entered the home, displayed a handgun, and fled on foot after taking cash.

The investigation identified one of the suspects, and on January 31, 2018 a warrant for home invasion, armed robbery, and residential burglary was issued for Xzemenize Boose, 19, of North Chicago.

On February 14, 2018 Boose was arrested by members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants Team and Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF).  Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants Deputies obtained information Boose was scheduled for a meeting in Arlington Heights, where he was located and arrested without incident.  He was remanded to the custody of the Lake County Jail with a $750,000 bond.
