As part of the Stearns School Bridge replacement program, the Illinois Tollway will be performing overnight work to remove the beams over I-94 on Tuesday, March 30th and Wednesday, March 31st, weather dependent. Between the hours of 9PM to 5AM each night, the Tollway’s contractors will be running heavy equipment along Stearns School Road from Lawson Boulevard to N Creek Drive, and on I-94. This will include running jackhammers, cranes and heavy equipment overnight. This construction activity will be disruptive and may cause noise disturbance to the surrounding residential areas.

The Illinois Tollway anticipates the removal to be completed by Thursday, April 1st.
