The Village of Gurnee had another major year of new construction and redevelopment, with over $55 million in building investment in the community in 2019. Gurnee welcomed several new businesses to our community including Aldi, a new Abbott Laboratories Employee Credit Union (ALEC) headquarters, Centerpoint Industries, DanceCenter North, WingStop, KT Home, Tsunami Car Wash, Authentic Cheese Bread, and more additions/comprehensive renovations. Gurnee has remained one of the premiere retail hubs in the Chicagoland, with even more additions to come in 2020.
