Robbery

Gurnee, IL – On 03/16/17 at 7:30 p.m., the Gurnee Police Department received a call of a female asking for help in a parking lot of a business in the 6100 block of Grand Ave, Gurnee.  Responding officers located a male and female who said that they were seated in their vehicle when they were approached by 2 male Hispanics.  The two male Hispanics reached inside of the vehicle, grabbing the female’s purse.  A struggle ensued and the offenders fled the parking lot in a white Chrysler Sebring.  Taken were several Apple I phones.  The purse was recovered at the scene.

Several hours later, Waukegan Police located the white Chrysler Sebring and took two subjects into custody.

The Gurnee Police Department obtained the following charges. 

Orlando Arroyo, 21, of Waukegan.  Robbery, Vehicular Invasion, Burglary and Aggravated Battery.  (Photos are not available at this time)

Ricky Patino. 21, of Waukegan.  Aggravated Robbery, Robbery, Vehicular Invasion, Burglary and Aggravated Battery.  (Photos are not available at this time)
