The Village has received notice from ComEd that they will be performing tree trimming around overhead power lines throughout the Village of Gurnee in April and May. Tree trimming is part of ComEd's larger maintenance program and is designed to remove weak or dangerous tree branches prior to a storm to prevent power outages and down wires. ComEd does not anticipate any power outages will occur while contractors are working but if they do occur, they should be very brief. ComEd_TreeTrimmingMap2017 For tree locations on private property, customers have been notified by ComEd.
