Trick-or-Treat 2020
Trick-or-treat is an important tradition in Gurnee. Like many other traditions, it undoubtedly will be impacted by COVID-19. We want to make sure it can be done safely for everyone who wishes to participate. The Village has reached out to both the Lake County Health Department and the Governor’s office for guidance. We are also reaching out to nearby communities to ensure we are coordinated in our trick-or-treat plans.
The Gurnee Village Board will be making a final determination regarding trick-or-treat on September 28th. As a reminder, Halloween is on Saturday, October 31st this year. Residents who wish to submit comments on the topic can do so by emailing villageboard@village.gurnee.il.us, or by calling 847-599-7500.We suggest residents check our website at www.gurnee.il.us on or after October 1st, 2020 for the status on 2020 Trick-or-Treat in Gurnee and any recommended guidelines to follow.
