The contracting crews completed pouring the ring wall for the new Knowles Road Water Tower #5, located at 1525 Knowles Road (corner of Rollins Road and Knowles Road).  Contractor is currently onsite taking steel deliveries and preparing to start vertical installation of the steel this week.  Tower #5 is being built to increase the overall capacity of our water system from six million gallons up to eight million gallons, and increase water pressure for customers on the western limits of Gurnee from 30-50 pounds per square inch (PSI) up closer to the average community-wide pressure between 70-80 PSI.
