Unlimited Landscape Collection Week: April 8th through 12th, 2019

Waste Management will begin unlimited landscape waste collection on Monday, April 8th and continue through Friday, April 12th. Collection will take place on your regular pick-up day and is open to all Gurnee residents. In order for the landscape waste to be collected, it must be containerized in one of the following ways:

1. In a Kraft-type paper bag not to exceed 45 lbs.

2. Rigid cans not to exceed 32-gallons (such as a regular garbage can).

3. Bundles of brush not to exceed two feet in diameter by four feet long and weighing no more than 60 pounds with no individual branch being greater than three inches in diameter. Must be bundled and tied with twine or string in distinct piles.

Landscape waste must be placed at the curb or the edge of the road by 6:00 a.m. on your pick-up day. Materials placed after 6:00 a.m. may not be collected. The Village urges resident with landscape waste to take advantage of this free opportunity. For more information on yard waste collection or branch/brush collection, please contact Waste Management at 1-800-796-9696 or visit the Village's website at http://www.gurnee.il.us/waste/landscape.

Once the unlimited landscape waste collection week has completed, residents may continue receiving yard waste services by purchasing stickers or with a subscription through Waste Management. Please contact Waste Management for details on subscription services.
