Neighborhood Watch

The Gurnee Police Department works closely with Neighborhood Watch groups as part of an effort aimed at safety and crime prevention. The police department is always discovering new ways to interact with the community through technology by creating educational videos and electronic newsletters for our residents.

The Neighborhood Watch newsletter provides residents with insightful information about crime prevention and the importance of working together as a community to minimize crime.  Our senior community has a dedicated section of the newsletter discussing how to defend themselves against crime.  This information is insightful and helpful to anyone who is a senior or may have family members or friends who experience these crimes.

We hope you enjoy the newsletter and thank you for your continued support of this program. If you have any questions, the Crime Prevention Office is available to assist.
